Mr. Peluso is a well-established and respected litigator who brings 20 years of complex commercial litigation experience to Sher Tremonte. Mr. Peluso has represented Fortune 100 companies as well as small and mid-sized businesses and individuals from a range of industries, including real estate, life sciences, healthcare, entertainment, financial services and transportation.
Mr. Peluso has achieved successful results for clients in a wide array of complex business disputes, as well as environmental matters, government contract disputes, False Claims Act cases, civil RICO and securities fraud claims, and intellectual property matters, among many others.
Mr. Peluso has handled matters through trial in state and federal courts across the country, as well as arbitrations, administrative proceedings and government investigations by state Attorneys General, the Department of Justice, federal and state regulators and the U.S. Congress.
He also has extensive experience assessing and mitigating legal risk for clients, including in the context of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, innovative customer offerings, and for clients entering unusually hostile markets.
Mr. Peluso is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was the managing editor of the Harvard Law Review. He clerked for the Honorable Amalya L. Kearse in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Prior to joining Sher Tremonte, Mr. Peluso was a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. Previously, he was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Stillman & Friedman, P.C.
